Tulica Singh began her career writing and directing in-between bartending shifts in New York City. While attending USC's School of Cinematic Arts, her short film Dream Girl was screened in 8 festivals including the Academy-qualifying Palm Springs International Film Festival and was screened in 21 theaters across Germany. In 2013, she received the Jon Huston Scholarship for excellence in directing. Since 2015, her web-series Croissant Man has been in 20 festivals, including the New York Television Festival, ultimately winning 13 awards. It has been featured in LA Magazine, IFC’s Comedy Crib and is one of the first independent web-series to be distributed through Amazon Prime. With her feature film CURSES! she was chosen for the 2021 Sundance Fellowship and Comedy Central grant.  Tulica currently works as an in-demand freelance director and editor for companies such as NBC, Disney, Tastemade, Amazon, IGN and The Food Network. She wrote, directed and edited content for the iconic game TETRIS’ first nightly game show, and most recently directed a spot for Disneyland. Her essay “Ras Malai” was published in Zosia Mamet’s book anthology My First Popsicle alongside some of her heroes Patti Smith and David Sedaris. Tulica continues to write projects that blend satire with sincerity.

Vision

I believe Filmmaking is magical, transformative, but most of all Fun! Life is hard enough, so I want to bring a levity to every project I'm a part of.
